Counting is done throughout the Netherlands

RMC has installed counting sensors across the Netherlands that measure foot traffic in shopping areas in real-time. We do this with fully GDPR-compliant sensors that count anonymous Wi-Fi signals. Our sensors have been distributed across the country for years, allowing us to compare visitor numbers and trends with previous years or other shopping areas of similar size. Thanks to our benchmarks, cities and retailers get a clear overview of footfall and its development over time.

Convenient reporting, clear and in any desired format

Counting footfall is not an end in itself; it is a means to answer broader questions. That’s why our data analysts and consultants are happy to assist with any custom inquiries. In addition, the standard reports provide traffic trends for both the whole of the Netherlands and individual cities, which can be viewed via the buttons below.

As an alderman, I like to be assisted by knowledgeable people. In the retail field, Bureau RMC does just that, including developing the retail vision. RMC painted a realistic picture. I was also very impressed by the way they led an information evening for all retailers in Alphen.
